Grace Place
Dinner Wednesday evenings at 5pm
A volunteer staff will help to serve fresh, healthy meals to those who are in need. Household and personal items will be offered at no charge when available, We will strive to help connect people with the resources they need, and to offer hope and encouragement to those who are downcast. Volunteer groups, organizations, or individuals are always welcome and encouraged. What we share is common, work on together, cultivate for the benefit of others, pulling together, pulls together. That’s what community means; that’s why it’s a “Community Table”, and there is always room for one more at the table.
Healthy Opportunities
Food box once a month
Five Point Center partners with Dogwood Health to provide healthy food boxes to eligible Medicaid recipients in Graham County. Call your Medicaid health provider for more information, or ask your doctor if you qualify.
TEFAP
2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month 5-7 pm
The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) boxes are distributed twice monthly, on the second and fourth Wednesdays.
Around $100 worth of food.
Resource Center
Every Wednesday 10am and 2pm
We have free Digital Literacy classes on Wednesdays. Please call Kevin: 828 735 1111 to schedule an appointment. We do hands on training, if you do not have a computer, come anyway. We have computers you can use and Some laptops we can give away to a limited number of students.

Community Kitchen

Coming soon: Five Pint Center is constructing a new commercial kitchen to be used for meal prep, cottage industries, and event planning. We will also be offering Nutritional Classes, Meal Prep for Community Meal, Cooking Classes, Cottage Industry Baking/Cooking, and Event Rental Space.

NC MedAssist
Call Five Point
NC MedAssist is a service that provides free OTC drugs to our organization and that can provide free non-narcotic prescriptions via mail order to uninsured residents.
Sunrise Community
Call Five Point Center
Sunrise Recovery and Wellness Center is an Asheville based non-profit that helps connect those with substance use issues with resources for recovery. They provide tents, socks, sleeping bags, etc. for the houseless as well.
